Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- BSc degree in Biology or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of insect diversity and identification preferred.
- Experience with pinning and labeling insects preferred.
- Experience with lab equipment and instruments in the Life Sciences field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining lab equipment and instruments in the Gillung Lab.
- Ordering parts and consumables.
- Performing changes and adjustments to lab equipment.
- Overseeing sorting and preparation of insect samples.
- Managing lab materials and equipment.
- Collecting and entering data from research projects.
- Maintaining lab work area.
- Assisting graduate students with sample preparation and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSc degree in Biology or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of insect diversity and identification preferred.
- Experience with pinning and labeling insects preferred.
- Experience with lab equipment and instruments in the Life Sciences field preferred.
