Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a customer service representative
- A very professional attitude and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service in previous roles – comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
- Strong time management and follow-up skills, including the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer issues and complaints with patience
- Bilingual in French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent team player, including demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and technical support with expertise and efficiency
- Provide timely updates on the status of customer orders, ensuring clear and proactive communication
- Resolve service issues, delays, and disputes while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Process and manage customer orders via EDI, fax, and phone using our internal ERP system, which will transition to SAP
- Verify and confirm customer account details, pricing, terms, and delivery requirements to ensure accuracy
- Monitor pending orders and collaborate with production, purchasing, and distribution teams to ensure timely execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the SAP system is an asset
