Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a customer service representative
  • A very professional attitude and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service in previous roles – comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management and follow-up skills, including the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer issues and complaints with patience
  • Bilingual in French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent team player, including demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and technical support with expertise and efficiency
  • Provide timely updates on the status of customer orders, ensuring clear and proactive communication
  • Resolve service issues, delays, and disputes while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Process and manage customer orders via EDI, fax, and phone using our internal ERP system, which will transition to SAP
  • Verify and confirm customer account details, pricing, terms, and delivery requirements to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor pending orders and collaborate with production, purchasing, and distribution teams to ensure timely execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the SAP system is an asset
