Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in collections and/or loss mitigation; vendor management or legal experience required.
Responsibilities
- Complete state-specific requests for documentation/affidavits for letter requirements, replevin referrals and suit filings
- Monitor SLAs to ensure they are being met by vendor for reporting requirements, letter generation, replevin affidavit and filing suit
- Initiate replevin process when access to a located vehicle is blocked, a customer is violent towards the repo vendor, or the unit is severely aged through the repo process
- Audit replevin vendor paperwork for accuracy and business expectations
- Facilitate frequent vendor touchpoints to address performance related issues, operational hurdles, and to discuss any changes to regulations or within the industry
- Work within our servicing platform as system of record for customer information and payment schedules
- Utilize approved databases and internet searches to locate leads to validate addresses for replevin referral
- Process system updates according to each individual firm’s reporting
- Meet quality control expectations by accurately reviewing accounts for eligibility, referring eligible accounts in a timely manner, validating vendor documentation, and updating internal systems promptly with vendor updates.
