Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred
- Have in-depth working experience working experience in a turbo machinery service shop
- Have previous, relevant experience working on Aero/ Aviation Derivative Gas Turbines
- Have previous experience developing and managing technical investigations.
Responsibilities
- Supporting maintenance execution in the service shop including inspection and disposition of components.
- Dis-positioning activities, ensuring the latest shop practices have been followed, report outstanding recurrent findings (Leading indicators) to the repair engineering teams.
- Supporting operational targets such as the Turn Around Time
- Supporting risk-based evaluation and risk-based mitigation action definitions
- Preparing technical documentation supporting internal reviews of the project being accountable of the applicable action items.
- Leading technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities on gas turbine components.
- Supporting Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities.
- Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes.
