Renewable Portfolio Services Manager

5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector with 1+ years of experience in contract management.
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subjects: Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.

Manage the due-diligence process undertaken by external third-party engineering firms for Nexamp financing opportunities on a portfolio or project basis.
Coordinate communications between Independent Engineer and Nexamp internal team (engineering, finance, procurement, operations, etc.). Act as a liaison between Nexamp subject matter leads and IE technical leads. Interpret various parties’ topical responses to provide effective communication and timely resolution.
Facilitate the exchange of project information to applicable parties in support of due-diligence reviews. Manage deliverables of independent engineers (reports, certificates, etc.) in tandem with the applicable financing schedule.
Monitor and prepare for critical project milestones (e.g. Mechanical Completion, Substantial Completion) and coordinate necessary third-party certifications required for financing milestones.
Lead the organization of necessary project documents and design reviews.
Support the management team in the IE due diligence process and ongoing development of risk management practices.

Independent engineering experience with technical and financial due diligence background preferred.
Solar PV design, development, construction, or asset management experience preferred.
