Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector with 1+ years of experience in contract management.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subjects: Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent.
- Independent engineering experience with technical and financial due diligence background preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the due-diligence process undertaken by external third-party engineering firms for Nexamp financing opportunities on a portfolio or project basis.
- Coordinate communications between Independent Engineer and Nexamp internal team (engineering, finance, procurement, operations, etc.). Act as a liaison between Nexamp subject matter leads and IE technical leads. Interpret various parties’ topical responses to provide effective communication and timely resolution.
- Facilitate the exchange of project information to applicable parties in support of due-diligence reviews. Manage deliverables of independent engineers (reports, certificates, etc.) in tandem with the applicable financing schedule.
- Monitor and prepare for critical project milestones (e.g. Mechanical Completion, Substantial Completion) and coordinate necessary third-party certifications required for financing milestones.
- Lead the organization of necessary project documents and design reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Independent engineering experience with technical and financial due diligence background preferred.
- Solar PV design, development, construction, or asset management experience preferred.
