Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- 3+ years of working experience in the energy industry.
- Financial modeling expertise using Microsoft Excel or other modeling programs.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of wind, solar, battery storage, and load project development, from early-stage strategy through to start of construction.
- Day-to-day management of project budgets, schedules, and development tools.
- Own financial modeling and analysis to advise key transactions as well as evaluate and frame project development risks and opportunities.
- Support counterparty relationships and contract negotiations with transmission utilities, consultants, land agents, attorneys, etc.
- Prepare materials for senior management team and capital deployment committees.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with other internal teams including development, engineering, origination, and finance as well as external counterparties including consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in energy markets or renewable energy project development is preferred.
