Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Mainframe operating environment including programming languages (COBOL), and major IBM subsystems and technologies including (CICS, VSAM, JCL, DB2/zOS and others).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with Mainframe batch processing and file processing experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with distributed systems, languages and relational databases (Java, Linux, Oracle, SQL)
  • Prior experience supporting the Financial Services industry or related fields
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an associate degree with 6 years of work experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control reviews for components slated for production migration, ensuring compliance with project standards and readiness criteria.
  • Perform comprehensive system development activities within Mainframe application software, including analysis, estimation, design, coding, testing, and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Manage legacy institution conversions using the Remittance Certification process to facilitate accurate and efficient data migration.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and business stakeholders to implement streamlined Remittance conversion processes aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Execute unit testing for institutional conversions, ensuring alignment with defined timelines, requirements, and quality standards.
  • Partner with client teams to deliver vesting services tailored to institution-specific service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring seamless onboarding and integration.
  • Gather and interpret business requirements to configure control files and perform precise calculations of vesting percentages.
  • Conduct rigorous unit testing and validation of vesting data files to ensure data integrity and system accuracy prior to deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have retirement industry experience including remittance, contributions and other services like eligibility, vesting, hardship, etc.
  • You have operating familiarity with FIS’ Omni Defined Contributions (OmniDC) licensed software and processing environment
  • You have experience working with business operations and client-facing teams
  • You have Data analytics experience including Python programming
