Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of maintenance reliability experience in heavy industrial, steel mill, or manufacturing environments
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- Experience with CMMS systems, RCM, TPM, and Six Sigma/Lean methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
- Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and failure modes & effects analysis (FMEA)
- Utilize condition monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis
- Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs to improve equipment reliability
- Support capital improvement projects and major equipment overhauls
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASTM, and other industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in reliability engineering (CMRP, CRE) is a plus
