Requirements
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification required at the time of hire
- 1 year of acute care hospital-based RN experience is required
- Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong organization skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice
- Demonstrate appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles
- Coordinate/direct care delivered by the interdisciplinary team
- Accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures
- Provide physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others
