Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- ASN/ADN required; BSN must be obtained within four years of hire unless exempt
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado
- Current experience in a Level II or III NICU
- Additional certifications (ACLS/NRP/PALS) as required by the unit
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of technology and quick to adapt to new systems
Responsibilities
- Assess and address patients’ psychological and physical needs, developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and oversee LPNs and CNAs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and recognize potential complications.
- Actively engage in communication with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and healing environment for all patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous RN experience preferred
