Requirements
- CA RN license
- BLS
- ACLS within one year of hire/transfer
Responsibilities
- Guided by the Code of Ethics in practice
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Acts as a patient/resident advocate
- Delivers care in a nonjudgmental manner
- Utilizes nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collects clinical data for quality monitoring
- Participates in QI studies and task forces
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Is a primary clinical resource for staff
- Manages staff and patient flow
- Coordinates care in high-risk situations
- Ensures collaboration between staff and other providers
- Provides patient care as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- MSN
- Currently enrolled in RN-BSN program
