Requirements
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record in client acquisition and relationship building
- Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment
- Ability to sell against the competition
- Strong prospect-channel identification, development, and qualification skills
- High degree of territory management capability, including a multi-state territory
- Willingness to travel via air or vehicle
- Successful completion of a background investigation
Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue)
- Develop a strategic plan for territory expansion in collaboration with your sales manager
- Self-generate leads and build a robust pipeline of fleet opportunities
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforces
- Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Comfortable with professional written and verbal communication at all levels from front line to C Level contacts
- Commitment to teamwork within the sales organization
- Strong forecasting and pipeline management skills – will be required to maintain a prospect database on designated software (Prior Salesforce experience a plus)
- Industry knowledge in fleet management and or commercial payments
- Goal-focused, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong time management skills
- Previous work or consultation with fleet a plus
