Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 6+ years equivalent experience
- 5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the Stryker Lower Extremities Sales team
- Analyze market information, identify and meet with new prospects and create sales plans and marketing strategies
- Prepare, monitor and manage budgets and expenditures
- Build ongoing partnerships with local hospital staff and surgeons and internal relationships with sales associates
- Plan and direct staffing, training, mentoring and performance evaluations to develop a sales team
- Direct and coordinate sales activities to achieve/exceed sales targets
- Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services
- Establish and build long-term relationships with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators
- Manage a multi-site operations/sales force
- Recruit, engage and retain Talent
- Work with internal resources to determine price schedules and discount rates
- Design and implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies
- Perform field calls for the accounts and assigned territory
- Drive compliance and the principles of responsibility
- Meet with key clients to assist sales team with maintaining/fostering relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- 2+ years of sales management experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and account services
- Medical device sales experience
- Experience managing P&L
