Requirements
- Strong business acumen with expertise in pricing, margin, forecasting, and cash flow.
- Proven leadership experience, including at least 3 years of people management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and business growth.
- Passion for the food ingredients industry and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the food industry, ideally in product management, marketing, or sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of the Systems & LBG business strategy in NA and LA.
- Define and implement regional priorities that align with global strategies and market needs.
- Work with regional sales and applications teams to identify and drive growth and innovation priorities.
- Own sales and profitability targets within the overall regional P&L.
- Support the budget and strategy process including definition of financial targets for the regions.
- Ensure financial forecast accuracy and work with sales teams to secure demand outlook accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to maximize business profitability and improve operations.
- Monitor performance vs sales budget, communicating on potential exposures and variances.
- Understand and communicate the impact of economic scenarios, raw material cost fluctuations, and competitive dynamics and develop adequate price strategies.
- Lead and manage a team of RPMs in NA and LA.
- Ensure team priorities are aligned with business objectives and strategies.
- Support team development plans and ensure succession planning.
- Drive price implementation in the region through RPMs in collaboration with sales, adapting global guidance to local markets.
- Drive new product launches in collaboration with RPMs, marketing, and applications teams.
- Bring market and competitive insights back to global product managers.
- Support the communication and resolution of supply issues, collaborating with the planning, production and procurement teams to minimize customers’ impact.
