Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s/Doctorate in Engineering, Management, or related field highly desirable)
- At least 15 years of experience in Maintenance, Reliability, or Asset Integrity, including leadership roles in operations
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles within heavy industry (experience in casting or smelting is a strong asset)
- Proven track record in managing asset performance and integrity across multiple locations
- Experience leading global or multi-site Asset Integrity programs and influencing stakeholders remotely
- Strong collaborative leadership style with the ability to deliver results through others
- Expertise in extending asset life through preventative strategies across various domains (e.g., corrosion, infrastructure, electrical)
- Knowledge of compliance standards, attention to detail, and bilingual proficiency in French and English (highly desirable)
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise, resources, tools, and standards to support the effective deployment of the Asset Integrity function
- Develop and implement asset strategies to optimize safety, risk management, and operational performance
- Manage the efficient use of external Asset Integrity partners and vendors
- Oversee Asset Integrity Management systems and tools, including the development of annual and 5-year rolling plans
- Support plants with capital projects, improvement initiatives, and failure investigations related to asset integrity
- Lead the annual and long-term budgeting process for asset integrity and ensure safe and efficient execution of related work
- Ensure appropriate organizational structures, roles, and competencies are in place at both regional and site levels
- Drive governance, best practice sharing, and continuous improvement through innovation and technology adoption
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in casting or smelting is a strong asset
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (highly desirable)
