Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales and sales management
- Exceptional ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team using strong, positive coaching methodologies that are direct, strategic, and clear
- Ability to utilize excellent communication skills to convey clear, direct, and motivating messages to the team
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with a positive mindset to manage day-to-day sales operations effectively
- Previous experience fostering a resilient and adaptive culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills to focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI)
- Ability to engage the team in the company’s sales philosophy and process. Be open to new ideas and ensure each salesperson feels like a key part of the team and the solutions provided to customers. Achieve team-wide buy-in, even when preferences differ, to drive productivity
- Ability to do 25% travel
- May require a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Create regional sales plans and goals aligned with business objectives
- Support day-to-day activities of sales representatives
- Evaluate team and individual performances
- Report on regional sales results
- Forecast quarterly and annual goals
- Identify hiring needs, select, and train new area managers
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new growth opportunities
- Address potential problems and suggest solutions
- Participate in decisions for expansion or reduction
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to enhance the customer experience
