Refrigeration Maintenance

Requirements

• Must have one year of industrial maintenance experience and at least 6 months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last 24 months, or was attending technical school or training within the last 24 months to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting of ammonia refrigeration components.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving the mechanical integrity of the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Responsible for monitoring ammonia refrigeration equipment for proper and safe operation.
• Responsible for repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components in the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Responsible for recognizing and correcting any irregularities in the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Responsible for maintaining the ammonia refrigeration documents.
• Must actively pursue and maintain all training requirements for ammonia refrigeration.
• Must be proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
• Perform duties as required by supervisor.

• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Good maintenance skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics / electrical wiring diagrams.
• Boiler operator certification.
• Kemco hot water system experience.
• Fire system operator experience.
• Regulation agency audit experience.
• HAZMAT certification.
• Ammonia refrigeration operator experience.
• HVAC repair experience.
• Great record documentation skills.
