Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional office setting.
- Minimum 2 years in a health care-related environment, IPA or HMO, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the centralized and clinic referral coordinator staff and processes to ensure compliance with all required timelines.
- Performs daily data entry, with review and analysis, for all Authorization Requests submitted by all AltaMed Health Services clinic sites.
- Assists with daily operational functions to effectively process pre-authorization requests for multiple contracted health plans.
- Serves as primary contact and AltaMed’s UM liaison for all Health Plans.
- Provides supervision for the Utilization Management Committee (UMC) preparation and process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in a health care-related environment, IPA or HMO, preferred.
