Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the military with diving and rebreathers, including with hands-on roles involving equipment and oxygen systems
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex systems, including Navy rebreathers
- Experience reading and interpreting technical assembly drawings
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Completion of Military Training in a technical field such as Electronics, Mechanics, or Rebreather
- J-Standard Soldering Certification
- Military or Combat Diver Certification
Responsibilities
- Work in assembly or fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment
- May operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling
- Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge
- May assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Work under general supervision
- May provide guidance for less experienced team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D printing and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of power and signal systems such as CAT5, 6, or 8COAX, including cable building, testing, and repair
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Bachelor’s degree
- Completion of the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC)
