Requirements
- BS in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related discipline with at least 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated laboratory skills.
- Strong understanding of experimental design.
- Enthusiasm for data analysis and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with JMP or similar statistical software is extremely beneficial.
- Experience creating SOP’s and work instructions and/or training materials for technicians and other scientists is also extremely beneficial.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to maintain well-organized laboratory records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Well-versed in safe laboratory practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, perform experiments, gather data, perform analyses and formulate next steps.
- Meticulous documentation of experiments and protocols.
- Drive assigned tasks within larger projects.
- Work cross-functionally on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Effectively communicate progress throughout the organization.
- Work with transfer teams to ensure products and processes are transferred to end users.
- Develop SOPs, training materials, and help conduct trainings for end users.
- Collaborate on product issue Investigations with internal teams and/or suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JMP or similar statistical software is extremely beneficial.
- Experience creating SOP’s and work instructions and/or training materials for technicians and other scientists is also extremely beneficial.
