R&D Clinical Research Data Analyst

Proficient with programming in Python and R
Three or more years of experience working with clinical and/or biomedical data
Ability to write custom SQL queries with joins, aggregation, and filtering features
Familiarity with Spark for cloud-based computing (e.g., Sparklyr, PySpark) and working with data stored on AWS S3 and/or Snowflake
Knowledge of basic biostatistics, text analytics, and common machine learning algorithms
Experience with complex data manipulation, statistical programming, text analytics, and data visualization
Familiarity with one or more IDEXX diagnostic or clinical data sources (e.g., VC+, RDE, PIMS)
Comfortable applying scripted processes for data visualization and dashboarding
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work onsite at the Westbrook, ME campus including in-person meeting attendance and presentations

Apply code-based processes to develop reproducible and reusable analytics solutions in medical data analytics
Develop custom Snowflake SQL queries to access IDEXX diagnostic and medical data and apply scripted methods (R and Python) to conduct descriptive and statistical analysis
Automate queries and pipelines using Databricks to streamline workflows
Perform statistical and visual data analysis to explore and analyze data from clinical studies
Support and maintain automated pipelines for targeted sample acquisition
Prepare technical reports and create dashboards to communicate findings and provide visibility to stakeholders
