Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of basic coding languages including Jinja, HTML and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of QuickBase, AWS and ESRI Software.
  • Basic programming experience.
  • Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
  • Ability to learn new software and techniques quickly.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with software design and coding.
  • Respond to requests from senior Solutions Architects.
  • Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design.
  • Work with the development manager to learn and improve coding skills.
  • Maintain code libraries.
  • Create reports, internal and external code documentation.
  • Learn debugging techniques.
  • Test and monitor applications.
  • Great communication skills to plan and collaborate with companywide colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Railroad Project Management operations preferred.
  • Active QB Pipelines Builder Certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with python and Jinja preferred.
