Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or equivalent.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license required.
- Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required
- 1 year of relevant experience in a medical or radiology setting.
- Quickly learns and applies new technical skills.
- Prioritizes patient needs and ensures satisfaction.
- Takes initiative and acts decisively.
- Builds effective relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Plans and organizes tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Positions patients for imaging procedures.
- Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
- Ensures patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Operates radiologic equipment under supervision.
- Maintains and calibrates imaging equipment.
- Ensures all equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Schedules appointments and maintains patient records.
- Processes imaging orders and updates digital filing systems.
- Adheres to clinic protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensures adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Monitors inventory and stocks necessary supplies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in radiologic technology or related field.
- 3 years of relevant experience in radiology or medical assistance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
