Requirements
- Experience with C++ software engineering or computer science, particularly in the modeling and simulation of weapons, communications, or sensor systems
- Experience with RF antennas and track filters
- Knowledge of RF and radar systems
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use
- Employ knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties
- Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts
- Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions
- Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics
- Experience with modeling and simulation
- Experience acting as domain expert in an integrated product team, developing computer-based models and simulations
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams, developing computer-based models and simulations
- Knowledge of foreign ground C4 systems such as artillery, electronic warfare, or air defense systems
- Knowledge of foreign ground combat systems
- Knowledge of foreign ground combat communication systems and networks
- Knowledge of simulation frameworks such as ODESSA, ITASE, or AFSIM
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in-person and virtually through telephone, video conferences, and developing documentation
- Top Secret clearance
