Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1-10+ years’ experience.
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, manages, and oversees the installation and maintenance of wireless radio communications systems and equipment.
• Analyzes wireless communications equipment and identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and dependability of wireless systems.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Performs wireless systems testing including interference analysis and frequency/coverage planning.
• Troubleshoots wireless networking issues.
• Monitors wireless network performance and generates reports that track and measure key performance metrics.
• Updates and maintains guidelines, standard procedures, and wireless systems documentation.
• Provides technical knowledge and skill in using specialized applications in Radio Frequency.
• Participates as needed in all phases of engineering design and software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation and presentation phases.
• Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of expertise to specific order requirements and in the process uses advanced mathematical principles and methods to arrive at practical, innovative solutions.
• Designs and prepares technical reports, data bases, studies, and related documentation, makes charts and graphs to record results.
• Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required by the order.
• Has knowledge of security requirements for specialized information transfer applications and is skilled in preparing technical reports and providing other services required by the order.
• Other duties as assigned.
