Requirements
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Physics with 2 years of experience or a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Physics with 0 years of experience.
- Able to travel about 5-10% of the time
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
- Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Analyze PATRIOT Guidance Performance for Live Firings, Ground Testing, and Simulation.
- Develop Test Plans, participate in PATRIOT testing, write Test Incident Reports (TIRs) as necessary, and review TIR responses.
- Review and keep up with Software changes to PATRIOT Missile Guidance and supporting functions.
- Become proficient in PATRIOT data reduction software with a wide variety of output files from both the tactical system and simulation, the specific variables within the files, and how to apply them to determine Missile performance.
- Analyze PATRIOT Guidance performance which is integrated into other system architectures, including the Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense System (IAMD) and the new Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Radar-related Signal Processing Experience or Coursework is desired.
- Experience in Air & Missile Defense Weapon Systems, Flight Tests/Ground System Tests, Data Analysis
- Understanding of MATLAB, C/C++, Python, SQL, Visual Basic (VB), C#, or any other high-level programming language is desired.
- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on prescribed schedules.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers.
- Ability to brief audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge.
