Requirements
- Rad Tech or LMR license
- BLS certification required
- Active AART and KROC
Responsibilities
- Assists the staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems
- Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment
- Maintains appropriate and efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas
- Assists physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures as designated
- Accurately obtains and records vital signs, reporting abnormal readings as appropriate
- Performs clerical duties as assigned including assembling information for patient education, assisting patients with nutrition and toileting as needed, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations for medications
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic medical assistant training or experience preferred
