Requirements
- Associate degree in Health Science
- Major in Radiology and/or Cardiovascular Technology
- Amer Reg of Radiologic Technologists certification
- Licensed Radiology Technologist
- BLS–Basic Life Support certification
- ACLS–Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (within 90 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography
- Conduct electrophysiologic studies
- Execute therapeutic interventional procedures
- Perform cardiac device implantation procedures
- Provide peri-procedural care and education for patients
- Assist cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain records and documentation for procedures
