Requirements
- Graduate-level degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, agricultural chemistry, crop science, agricultural engineering, or agronomy
- 5+ years of experience with exposure to chemicals or agriculture tech sector (including in services such as consulting or investment banking). Experience should include product/solutions development, operations, strategy, and project management.
- Expertise in chemicals & agrochemicals production, storage, and distribution, including current industry challenges, technological trends, and new opportunities
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and build relationships with stakeholders across multiple partner companies
- Self-starter with the ability to create and execute customer-facing solutions and strategic initiatives in a new domain
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and prioritize quantum computing use cases in the Chem & Ag domain based on feasibility, techno-economic impact, and potential for early-gen Fault Tolerant Quantum Computing (FTQC) advantage.
- Collaborate with external partners, including in academia and Chem & Ag companies, to validate and build internal knowledge of these use cases.
- Build vertical-specific solutions that address specific needs in industry by working with PsiQuantum internal technical teams (e.g., chemistry team, PDE team, software product team) and external domain experts.
- Identify and define new opportunities for early-gen quantum computing within Chem & Ag sector.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for engaging with Chem & Ag companies and advancing knowledge of FTQC within these industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Chem & Ag, including dominant incumbents, startups, VC, and other ecosystem players.
- Represent PsiQuantum at industry events and forums to showcase quantum computing solutions for Chem & Ag.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial and business modeling is preferred.
- Knowledge of quantum computing is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
