Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/quality management.
- Prior management experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in statistics and problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competency in MS Office and Minitab.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with calibration programs.
- Mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage company, AASHTO, ASTM, and CSA quality standards.
- Lead and manage QA labs and Quality Specialists’ performance.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing and shipping issues using quality tools like Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Conduct Process Capability Studies and collaborate with Plant Leadership Teams to improve reliability.
- Ensure 6S standards are maintained in quality operations.
- Participate in Kaizen Events and implement quality-related daily management.
- Travel up to 50% to support and evaluate Quality Specialists and plant leadership teams.
