Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area
- 3 years’ experience in software engineering quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.
Responsibilities
- Performs quality assurance testing for medium- to large-scale, eCommerce web applications, tools, and software by collaborating with project teams to establish test cases and requirements
- Participates in small- to medium-sized team projects by reviewing and understanding project requirements; assisting in the writing and developing of code; performing software quality assurance testing
- Provides solutions for code errors by collaborating with software developers to review coding algorithms; utilizing unit testing plans to test code
- Supports code development for eCommerce projects by participating in project team meetings to develop project plans; reviewing project requirements; providing insight to software developers regarding project quality requirements
- Identifies and creates test cases of low complexity for functional testing
- Executes functional test cases of low complexity; detects and documents defects, bugs, errors under high to moderate supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality assurance certification (for example, CSTE – Certified Test Engineer, CSQA – Certified Software Quality Analyst)
- Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare)
- Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
