Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in quality, plastics, packaging or related engineering field preferred
- Experience with GFSI schemes or Quality Systems desired
- Effective use of MS work and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Management skills
Responsibilities
- Using statistical tools such as process capability, Design of Experiment, SPC etc.
- Assist manufacturing and suppliers in evaluation and optimization of manufacturing processes and products
- Perform part inspection utilizing the appropriate tools and equipment. Create reports summarizing results and methods utilized
- Define and execute the requirements of gauging and inspection methods for instruments utilized with frequency in the lab
- Guide the plant inspectors in daily activities related to inspection, testing and problem resolution
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of Quality Assurance lab equipment
- Assist in the maintenance of Safe Quality Food Quality Systems
- Automate quality inspection processes to reduce manual intervention
Preferred Qualifications
