Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Minimum 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Demonstrated superior verbal and written skills
- Must display tact, diplomatic and professionalism in difficult situations
- Must protect the confidentiality of sensitive information in the department
- Ability to work on a team
- Ability to travel at least 50%
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and special audits to assess compliance with American Red Cross policies and procedures and applicable government regulations and standards
- Prepare reports to support audit findings and recommendations
- Liaison for management and field auditors, providing technical assistance and research coordination services
- Review and approve facility’s corrective action program. Evaluate progress in addressing observations and monitor effectiveness
- May plan and lead routine audits as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification obtained within first year of employment preferred
