Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical inspection and precision measuring tools.
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools and equipment to evaluate parts and devices.
- Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate inspection history records.
- Identify and report nonconforming materials following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with the production team to implement quality control measures and improve first-pass yield.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety laws (ISO 13485).
- Support the development and implementation of inspection protocols and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMM equipment, including programming automated CMM systems, is a plus.
