Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a QA Analyst / Game Tester in the game industry or related field
- Ability to follow rigorous quality assurance processes
- Thorough understanding of the importance of QA and testing
- Ability to evaluate and develop complicated processes and suggest improvements effectively
- Strong knowledge of JIRA or equivalent bug/issue tracking software tools
- Industry experience in production, QA, or software development
- PC, Console (PlayStation, XBOX, etc.) game testing experience
- Past experience testing mobile games (iOS/Android, etc.)
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision while still maintaining productivity
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform build verification testing; regression testing; and general testing for quality & performance
- Work directly with the development teams
- Assist in the refinement and improvements of test procedures and test plans
- Provide assistance to Designers and Engineers, regarding game-play and game-balance analysis
- Identify and report defects and deficiencies to maintain a high quality level with our products
- Test and verify quality of software and internal tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing mobile hardware devices, VR, and/or network connectivity
- Previous experience with Unreal Engine
