Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three years of public relations and/or marketing experience preferred; healthcare experience preferred; portfolio of content examples required.
  • Excellent writer along with ability to develop content strategy, edit and implement editorial calendar.
  • Full understanding of social media channels and content distribution.
  • Confident communicator with ability to work with leadership, medical staff and employees to identify content that reinforces JMC brand.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess superior organization skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily social media content inclusive of text, images, videos or HTML to enhance awareness of JMC brand and increase consumer engagement.
  • Implement best practice standards on social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Use analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
  • Create video, graphics and capture photos to enhance the brand as needed.
  • Develop editorial calendar for multi-channel communications plan, including drafting copy, coordinating assets, scheduling posts, and publishing on channels.
  • Support communications plan through content development.
  • Help manage and maintain the company website content.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on talking points, social content, executive communication, and presentations.
  • Create messaging, presentations, and other deliverables to support service line strategy.
  • Develop patient testimonials (written or video) for use on various channels inclusive of web.
  • Develop content for use in internal and external newsletter.
  • Support the execution of community events internally and externally.
  • Coordinate activities as needed to support JMC strategic plan.
  • Inform leadership of JMC’s digital metrics and industry best practices.
  • Assist with oversight of outsourced public relations projects.
  • Prioritize projects based on feedback from manager and VP.
  • Assure timely completion of all assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
