Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a Mental Health discipline or equivalent education/experience
- LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker or LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or PSY-Psychologist of California
- 2 years of recent relevant experience
- Ability to assess the needs of the patient and provide high quality integrative psychotherapy
- Knowledge of holistic assessment, care plan development and outcomes tracking methods
- Capacity to work within the integrative medicine model
- Desire and ability to work as an active member of an interdisciplinary practice team
- Knowledge of the most recent Board of Behavioral Science requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide short-term outpatient individual and group therapy with individuals, children, and families
- Provide comprehensive assessment and counseling support for mental, emotional, social, and behavioral issues
- Assist patients in learning effective tools to cope with stress, grief, and loss
- Collaborate with physicians and other health practitioners on care coordination and treatment planning
- Act as the principal primary care team resource for all mental health matters
- Collaborate with other psychotherapists to implement and sustain best practices in behavioral health
