Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio
  • Applicants must be from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program (with an accredited clinical internship)
  • At least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience
  • Competent in technical clinical skills
  • Possess cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve patients
  • Preference for candidates with previous training or experience working with patients with psychotic disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Join a multidisciplinary team serving patients referred for treatment of psychosis and related disorders
  • Provide clinical evaluation and assessment
  • Conduct individual cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Provide metacognitive remediation therapy
  • Offer family education and support
  • Engage in community education
  • Participate in committees and conferences
  • Represent OSU at professional meetings and community speaking engagements
  • Practice within established Medical Center standards of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates with previous training or experience working with patients with psychotic disorders will be given preference.
