Requirements
- Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace system or aircraft development including complex electronics and software
- Ability to communicate clearly with other engineers and regulatory authorities
- Experience with development of requirements based testing for complex electronic systems
- Demonstrated proficiency working within a structured development process
- Familiarity with modern workspace tools such as slack, google suite, etc.
Responsibilities
- Conduct design reviews
- Conduct validation and verification activities
- Conduct inter and intra system integration
- Perform propulsion system and component requirements development and validation
- Conduct system integration activities such as interface definition, hardware and software test support and system to system integration testing
- Plan, coordinate and execute verification activities with various engineering disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in development and life cycle data management of complex aerospace systems including ARP4754A/B, DO-178C and DO-331
- Familiarity with MathWorks’ tools such as Matlab and Simulink for model based development
- Experience with title 14 CFR parts 23, 25, 27, 29, or 33
- Exposure to motor control and inverter design
- Some amount of exposure to embedded control systems.
