Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- (Level 3) 5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or work related engineering experience with a PhD
- (Level 4) 9+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 7+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or 4+ years of work related engineering experience with a PhD
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or similar Systems Modeling Language (SysML)-compatible tool for systems architecture and model development
- Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
Responsibilities
- Lead the cross-functional engineering teams in developing the Product’s Architecture to meet program commitments, including model-based design reviews
- Lead the cross-functional team to define and maintain the Product’s requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification requirements
- Guide the team in implementing open architecture standards
- Integrate the product’s architecture model with products across the system
- Leverage Systems Engineering and MBSE experience to define, implement, and maintain the MBSE approach to meet the customer’s digital engineering requirements
- Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop and verify complex systems solutions
- Establish, maintain, and demonstrate traceability between tools within the Digital Engineering Environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Breadth of experience across technical domains and life cycle phases
- Experience working on proprietary programs
- Experience with Mission Systems architectures and Open Missions Systems (OMS) and/or Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
- Experience with specialty engineering and system analysis
- Experience with military aircraft, including platform subsystems
