Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience (co-op experience is a plus)
- Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of various computer programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States unrestricted for an unlimited period of time – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver thought leadership, critical thinking & inquisitive attitude to lead global development teams through Technology development.
- Support internal/external customers and global multi-functional colleagues by sharing technical and project achievements & updates.
- Develop mastery of existing calculators and engineering tools as well as facilitate the creation of new design and analysis tools as needed/appropriate.
- Apply a high degree of independent engineering knowledge to lead multi-functional efforts in technical development and problem-solving.
- Develop and implement development and testing plans with a focus on managing risk mitigation, and coordinate with appropriate resources for timely execution.
- Apply and support the incorporation of Lean principles and techniques into the New Product Development process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience in the development of electrically driven rotating equipment or similar fields.
- Experience with GT Suite, Power BI, Minitab.
- Ability to communicate with technical, manufacturing, and business leaders at all levels.
- Strong Thermodynamics, vapor compression cycle & heat transfer knowledge/experience.
