Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of project management experience
  • 1-3 years of experience within an apparel product creation organization
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills and experience with project management tools and calendars
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Detail oriented with clear understanding of overall objectives

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the product creation process, providing strategic guidance to cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
  • Own and manage the product creation calendar, identifying efficiencies and applying best practices to optimize timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars for all merchandising and design activities; collaborate with partners to develop tailored timelines across seasons and product categories.
  • Lead day-to-day project and workflow management, ensuring consistent communication of procedures, milestones, and status updates.
  • Ensure team alignment with the product creation calendar and adherence to key deadlines.
  • Secure necessary approvals to advance projects through each phase.
  • Participate in cross-functional sessions to identify business needs and propose process improvements.
  • Establish and uphold organizational standards for documentation and workflow maintenance.
  • Support planning efforts for specialized business areas, recommending and implementing enhancements to tools and processes.
  • Monitor project progress, develop communication materials, and proactively resolve outstanding issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
