Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing interior fit-out projects, preferably in hospitality, multi-family, or commercial real estate.
- Proven experience leading all phases of design and construction for interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methodologies, and project delivery methods.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and project management software.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple interior fit-out projects from design through construction, ensuring quality, design integrity, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with internal design teams, consultants, and contractors to manage the design development process, ensuring alignment with the project’s vision and goals.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and drive value engineering solutions without compromising design quality.
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinate milestones, and manage the project team to ensure on-time delivery.
- Act as the central point of contact across cross-functional teams including internal leadership, design, construction, procurement, and operations.
- Oversee construction progress, manage RFIs and submittals, conduct site visits, and ensure fit-out work meets quality standards and codes.
- Work with procurement teams on FF&E packages and long-lead items to ensure seamless integration with construction timelines.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Architect or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with design-forward, branded environments preferred.
- Familiarity with South Florida building codes and permitting processes highly preferred.
