Requirements
- Five years of progressively responsible experience related to the class concept
- OR Four years of progressively responsible experience related to the class concept AND an Oregon Project Management Associate Certification
- OR Two years of progressively responsible experience related to the class concept AND a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field
- OR A Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute
Responsibilities
- Support project scoping, business case development, and risk assessments.
- Assist in developing key project artifacts such as charters, schedules, project plans, and budgets.
- Track project progress, manage risks and issues, monitor vendor performance, and oversee contract deliverables.
- Ensure project documentation is up to date and aligned with established plans.
- Draft status reports, facilitate stakeholder communication, organize and maintain project folder structures, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, standard procedures, and compliance with required governance frameworks.
- Work closely with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive project success and streamline approval processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of structured project approval processes, such as stage gate frameworks.
- Experience in managing, reviewing and approving project submissions while ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementation projects, particularly in legacy system transitions, managing data migration plans.
- Proficient at supporting vendor management, contract deliverable tracking, and compliance management.
- Experience managing projects that involve both business process changes and system integrations, while minimizing disruption to operations.
- Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies, including coordinating sprints, managing backlogs, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
