Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering.
- Experience in Project Engineering / Project Integration.
- 7+ years’ experience with avionics
- Project Scheduling tool experience (e.g. MS Project).
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work seamlessly with team members at different locations.
- Experience/understanding in development and delivery of logistics support elements.
- Organizational/teambuilding skills.
- Ability to perform project planning/execution.
- Aptitude to remain politely persistent while achieving results.
Responsibilities
- All support system elements are defined and scheduled for execution down to the part # / book #.
- All support system elements are complete and correct in support of FCB (plus flight test and Kit proof as applicable) on time.
- All interim work products required for downstream work are identified, complete, accurate and provided on time with updates managed, controlled and communicated in a timely fashion.
- Maintains and provides accurate and up to date status on progress, issues and resolutions on support system elements.
- Plans, conducts, coordinates Support Systems Readiness Reviews as a part of the overall integration effort.
- All of Engineering is represented positively and effectively with internal organizations and the customer.
- Fosters a team culture representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
- Leads project integration to ensure all groups execute the work statement to a common schedule.
- Works under minimum direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Avionics Project Integration or Project Engineering experience.
- Avionics software development experience.
- Familiarity with USAF Technical Orders.
- Familiarity with USAF Support Equipment.
