Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or related degree with a minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience; Masters of Science Degree in Engineering or related degree with a minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience
- Deep understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles of an engineering discipline
- Advanced knowledge of the job area to execute projects
- Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues
- General knowledge in areas of Root Cause / Corrective Action, LEAN, Project Planning, Product line transfer and Data Acquisition and Analysis
- Ability to work across multiple time zones resulting at times in extended working hours and the need for international travel
Responsibilities
- Developing and owning the (DFM) Design for machining process
- Concurrently manage multiple Manufacturing Engineering projects for complex programs
- Provide necessary cost predictions, technical data and documentation for project metrics
- Provide and meet detailed schedules and budgets to assure timely completion in support of sales / revenue growth strategies
- Work within a team environment and utilize lean principles to incorporate world class processes into partner/customer
- Interact with cross functional teams to support NPI,CPI,VPI projects
- Interface with customers, vendors, and peers at customer/partner facilities
