Requirements
- Minimum 5 years Property / Casualty Underwriting
- High School diploma required
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical and computer skills.
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to maintain excellent relations with MGA’s, reinsurers and brokers providing superior service.
- Team oriented and ability to work effectively with peers.
- Strong prioritization skills to meet daily demand and deadlines to meet all service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that support growth, profitability, and retentions
- Review and Analyze Monthly Program Reports
- Referral Management
- MGA and broker relationship management
- Training, Development and Mentorship of Programs Underwriting Assistants
- Special projects and other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English and French preferred
- College degree preferred
