Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Consulting or Energy industries.
  • An environmental / energy, engineering or business degree, or degree in a related field, from a top undergraduate program 5+ years of professional experience in the Consulting or Energy industries
  • Demonstrated abilities in problem solving and independent decision-making capabilities.
  • Negotiation Skills, Confident, Active Listener, Persistence, Ambition & Adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex models and ad-hoc reports.
  • Ability to effectively take on multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously. Deadline driven.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accenture Energy COE’s contract renewal and negotiations for all assigned clients
  • Drive value to Accenture Energy COE’s bottom line by identifying and recommending additional opportunities for client engagement with Accenture Energy COE support. (Upsells)
  • Identify opportunities to improve clients’ profitability with Accenture Energy COE
  • Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and drive value for the organization
  • Develop, organize, and update client trackers to demonstrate Accenture Energy COE’s value to the client
  • Hold ongoing client management update calls to establish regular communication cadence, including contracted market calls
  • Research and understand each client’s industry in order to tailor these trackers and update calls to the client’s specific goals
  • Manage day to day communications with each client to ensure their concerns are addressed on a timely basis
  • Coordinate communication between client and Accenture Energy COE subject matter experts to support scope expansion.
  • Lead Accenture Energy COE’s client management from both the physical and financial market perspective in order to assist in the maximization of Accenture Energy COE’s clients’ energy supply opportunities and coordinate all supply related purchases.
  • Set client and internal team expectations and monitor product delivery while looking for opportunities for new products, product enhancements, and savings initiatives.
  • Responsible for accurate client company information and client data in Accenture Energy COE’s proprietary systems.
  • Understand and be able to instruct others on the burner tip economics of all assigned client facilities. This includes the review/understanding of all applicable tariffs/summaries, special contracts, supply sources and available pipelines.
  • Provide monthly client status updates to internal management team regarding renewals and upsell opportunities.
