Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication – regular presentations and facilitation of large groups can be expected
- Experience with software and hardware development lifecycles and process, including ASPICE compliance, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of resource and cost estimation
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making, including financial analysis and risk assessment
- Strategic thinking to ensure our assets are optimized across the portfolio of projects and alignment with strategic business goals
- Ability to lead strategic decision making in a timely fashion to ensure the right work is being done on the correct timeline
- Motivational and collaborative approach to daily activities and tasks, ensuring team members are engaged and meeting project goals
Responsibilities
- Manage the portfolio decisions and investments made within our in-production product portfolios, including cost reductions and continuing engineering (component & EOL replacement, supplier changes, SW bug fixes, etc.)
- Partner with Engineering, Procurement/Supply Chain, ESP’s and Manufacturing to identify sources of cost savings and move projects through evaluation and into development/launch
- Establish appropriate CIE/VAVE dashboards, stakeholder review/status meetings, and ensure teams are unblocked during execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Business is a plus
- Highly self-motivated, curious, resilient, and flexible
